<image:title>Programs - About - Fees and Financing</image:title>
<image:caption>TIPP aims to make higher education highly accessible, as does our partner organization, Kairos University. Taking on debt is a personal decision and a difficult one at times. Tuition and fees for our various programming have been thoughtfully considered and intentionally kept lower than the vast majority of other institutions. Unlike most universities, students will not pay a per/course or per/unit tuition fee. Instead, TIPP students pay a flat fee per month, and stop paying once the program has been completed. Simple, straight forward. Each program’s costs are below. Tuition includes Continuing Education Credits for clinicians of all disciplines (Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family). Because each state has differing requirements, you should verify that the programming TIPP facilitates meets those requirements. Limited need-based tuition assistance may be available. Under-represented groups in the mental health profession are particularly encouraged to apply. Doctorate of Professional Counseling: $500/month Attachment Based Addiction Treatment Certificate Program: $175/month Continuing Education: varies per event, ranging from $45-$175 for events.</image:caption>

<image:title>Attachment Based Addiction Treatment Certificate Program - 9 Modules across 12 Months</image:title>
<image:caption>With three cohort starts every year (January, May, September), this post-graduate certificate program aims to narrow the gap between a professionals training and the acuity of patient’s difficulties. This certificate program hopes to serve as an adjunctive to the types of treatment for those with substance use/abuse disorders and 12-step communities. At the time of completion, participants will have another lens by which to understand the etiology of addiction, an understanding of why such disorders are treatment resistant, and a set of skills to incorporate into clinical practice, aimed at getting to the depths of successful sobriety and recovery. Participants may be eligible to Continuing Education credits (27 total), depending on their state board requirements. Meetings are held in combination of in-person, teleconference, and on-the-job-site meetings, making the certificate program highly accessible for the working professional. The ABAT Certificate Program has the following modules: Module 1: A history of researchers, clinicians, and their ground breaking ideas Module 2: The heart of attachment: the brain and nervous system Module 3: The basics and essentials: attunement, balance, coherence Module 4: Attachment classifications and assessment Module 5: Addiction and attachment specific nervous system Module 6-9: Brown & Elliott’s 3 Pilar Model of Attachment Repair</image:caption>

<image:title>Continuing Education - 3 Ways to Continue Education</image:title>
<image:caption>TIPP offers a variety of ways to continue your educational experiences, both as a means of personal life-long learning, and a means of earning your state board required Continuing Education units. Participation in the entire event is always required - not partial credit is ever awarded. Verify with your specific licensing board for eligibility. Three ways to continue your education are as follows: Participate in the Doctorate of Professional Counseling Participate in the Attachment Based Addiction Treatment certificate program (27 units total/year) Attend a one-time CE event in partnership with other organizations, like the DFW chapter of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies (typically 3 units per event) https://www.eventbrite.com/o/michael-leach-phd-of-tx-institute-of-prof-psych-72969726423</image:caption>
